2da sesión, New tattoo ;)

This piece is one of Picasso’s Dove series. It is on my inner left forearm. I got it as a symbol of peace and freedom, to mark my two year sobriety anniversary. Done by Miss Clare Jordan in Connecticut.
I got this anchor because it represents BEATING THE ODDS. I suffer from OCD, Anxiety, Panic disorder, and Depression but I will never let it get the best of me. I have seen the horrible things it can do to people and make people do to themselves and this is my reminder that it doesn’t have to be that way. I am the frail balloon holding up the unthinkable weight of this anchor and it will NEVER win. Thank you Corinne Bardrof for your wonderful talent and helping me get my thought onto paper and onto my skin!
This is my third tattoo, but the other ones are tiny little things, so this was my first “real” tattoo. I just LOVE owls. I think they are so cute and quirky. The lyrics in the ribbon are from the song “Northern Downpour” by Panic! At The Disco. I have always loved those lyrics and that song. It makes me feel optimistic. This piece was done by Izzy at Hartford County Tattoo in Bristol, CT. She’s the best!
I love the Little Mermaid and Tim Shumate’s art.
Line work; color coming soon! :)
Done by Jimi Jackson at Empire Ink Custom Tattoos & Gallery in Akron, OH
I’m a photographer, tentacles are cool, and Ryan Groebler from Stay True Tattoo in Dublin, CA is a badass.
Mr. Feeny: Believe in yourselves. Dream. Try. Do good.
Topanga: Don’t you mean ‘do well’?
Mr. Feeny: No. Do good.
First tattoo, first session. One more session to go to add some details. My tattoo was designed by Manuel Anthony. I wanted a hibiscus flower because it is the national flower of Malaysia. The place where I was born and grew up with my family. On the side the vines is a date: 8/22/2010 the day my mom passed away and this is a way for me to honor and remember her by.
“I am woman, hear me roar”
This tattoo is for my Linda, a wonderful woman whose my mentor and who is also batteling ovarian cancer. I cried like a baby when I found out, (I never cry btw). She lovessssssssssss cats, maybe too much, but she works with rescue shelters, I thought it would be fitting to get a feline that represents courage, the blue eyes is for a story she told me about when she was younger and the first time she wore blue eye shadow to bring out her baby blues, she was always so animated when shed tell me this story, as for the quote, “hear me roar”, that was her cheer for me every time I broke up with a douche bag guy or stood up for myself as a woman. I love her to death, and this tattoo turned out way better than I could imagine. It was done by the bearded yet talented Britton Asbury at Cloaks and Daggers tattoo in Dayton, Ohio.
