This is my first straight edge tattoo upon completion. The actual kneecap and the outside of my leg didn’t hurt a bit. The inside was next to unbearable. I am so proud of it, I love the way my artist/colleague designed the diamond to look sparkling.
It’s a very tricky area- the knee. You must watch the lines closely to be sure it doesn’t come out all wonky when the knee is extended or bent. We were a little concerned with the placement, and it took a few tries with the stencil to get it right. He did it perfectly and the diamond looks like a photo perfect smaller version of itself when my leg is extended! Here it is shown very slightly bent.

This is my first tattoo which I recieved about a month ago from Justin Cota @ the Red Crow Studio in North Park, San Diego, CA. (:
He is an amazing artist and there is no one else in the San Diego area I would have rather gone to for this piece.
It is dedicated to my grandfather who passed away about a year ago and who was a big part of my life as a child. The sunflower represents North Dakota, which is the place my gramps would happily call his home and the bee signifies the idea of him watching over me always as I continue to grow<3

I got my flower skull tattoo at Eternal Ink in Buffalo, NY. My artist, Bill, was excited to do this but he admitted that it was a challenge. I couldn’t ask for a more beautiful tattoo, I’ll love it forever and ever.

This is my women’s liberation symbol tattoo, and my second tattoo so far. I’ve wanted it for quite some time now, and now it’s all mine.

I don’t really like going on about my tattoos, but this one IS special. Basically I am a Navy spouse, and didn’t really expect to make any *close* friends among the other spouses when I moved with the Husbot to Japan. I’m kind of a weirdo with anxiety problems! But I was happily proven wrong and I ended up meeting two wonderful ladies, one of whom was half-Mexican (like my husbot), and both of whom had grown up on the Southwest border. They were my best friends in Yokosuka, we vigorously explored Japan together with a growing number of Japanese girlfriends, and they taught me to make proper Mexican food at home, for which the husbot was grateful! A Sugar Skull Geisha seemed an apropo memento of that time.
