My first tattoo minutes after it was finished. It’s my mom’s handwriting on the inside of my left forearm, taken from a letter she wrote to me before I was born. I lost my mom when I was four in a car accident, but she’s always been a part of everything I do regardless of the fact that she isn’t physically here. In the letter she promised that she was always here for me, and I want to be reminded of that every day. Done by Eric at Shiny New Tattoo in Shelby, NC.

This is my dinosaur eating a cupcake. I’m a pastry chef with a small love for dinosaurs, and I’ve had this idea in mind for a while. Thankfully I found the most amazing artist to bring it to life. Kelly Doty from Off the Map Tattoo in Easthampton, MA was the greatest, I would definitely recommend her or anyone in the shop for a grade A tat.

The main character, a boy named Lester is the most expressive character I have ever read. It almost brought me to tears the first time I read it.
