Alice & The March Hare illustration by Margaret Tarrant. My 10th tattoo! Done by Scott Wilgeroth at Heart & Soul Tattoos in East Greenville, PA
I got this done last week by my boyfriend, Vic Fernandez, at Salvation Tattoo Lounge in South Beach. I thought of the concept and he drew my custom design. It’s the evil eye from the Hamsa, but I wanted to make it mine, so I switched the hand for a rose and added filigree.

This is my Georges Méliès tattoo. Méliès was a French filmmaker from 1896 to 1913. He was ahead of his time and revolutionized filmmaking. He created editing techniques such as stop action, dissolve, and multiple exposure. This moon is from one of his greatest films Le Voyage dans la Lune (A Trip to the Moon) released in 1902 (his 400th film). This film was one of the first to be distributed worldwide and was also one of the first to be duplicated (especially by Edison Films). Because of this Méliès was never really made money off of this film and died broke and forgotten. He is and always will be my favorite filmmaker of the silent era.

Batman outline and first shading done by Keith Shaw at Lost Time in Peterborough, the beginning of a full sleeve.
I’ve always been in love with the Batman story, how he comes to be what he is as well as his the feud between him and The Joker (who will feature on the top half of my arm)

A tribute to my late great aunt and family in Las Vegas.
My great aunt was a show girl and later in her life worked in the casinos, my great uncle was a Vegas radio presenter in the 60’s and my great cousin had the ability to put a smile on anyone’s face.
Every day I look down at my forearm, smile, get reminded of my great aunts infectious laugh, my great uncles talent, my great cousins charm and know that I can do anything with the three of them looking over me.
I had bugged my mom about getting a tattoo for about two years, and now since I have finally turned 18, I went out and got one for my birthday. I was going to get the ADTR lyrics “I Will Never Falter, I’ll Stand My Ground.” But Todd, my tattoo artist, convinced me it would look good on my shoulder instead of my back, and the script would clash with the drawing. I liked this picture because I wanted to do a tree with sweet ass roots and branches. When I saw this picture I thought it was perfect, and I looked up what a deer symbolizes. It was what I wanted. I got the tattoo at Ink and Dagger in Louisville, Kentucky located on Bardstown Road, right in the middle fo the Highlands. They had done my buddies first two tattoos and each one turned out great. Mine isn’t done yet, Todd is gonna go back and throw some white, brown, and blue to give it some depth and make it pop, so he says lol. The best part is I got to smoke a bowl with him afterwards. Overall I had a great first tattoo experience, and I’m already planning for more.
Picture is called Free Spirit by Sepraven.
This is my boyfriend’s tattoo ! (: He got it in Japan by this Japanese tattoo artist. It’s a tattoo of a panda holding a wrench in one hand and a gun in the other hand. He got this because the panda symbolizes him and his time in Japan and the gun in one hand because his work as a military cop in Japan. The wrench in the other hand symbolizes his love for cars. & let me tell you..he woke me up super early just to show me his tattoo. He is now addicted and wants more tattoos. At first I thought the panda was kinda silly, but hey he loves it alot. So I’ll get used to it. :)
