Taked about 7 sessions to get it done. Mario is a great tattoo artist!

My mums first tattoo, most likely her only one. She’s the one who taught me to never get a tattoo without significance, because something might not look as cool as it did to you later in life.

The tattoo was done by Mario Z from Moving Shadow Ink in Milwaukee, WI. She said that there is always an angel by her side, or looking over her. At first, it sounds cliché, but then when she told me everything that she’s been through with her ex husband, it made sense. Getting chased down a sidewalk by a drunk man in his car isn’t exactly easy to survive, neither is getting locked out of the house when he’s intoxicated and it’s -16 outside. She’s been through a lot, and there always was that angel watching over her.

The angel had to have attitude, no clichè white dressed angel tattoo. It had to be unique, and done by someone who knows what they’re doing.

I got this old school anchor done in my left ribs almost a year ago by @yomicoart in Caracas, Venezuela - inspired by Robyn’s Love Kills song. The picture was taken right after it was finished; if you look closely, you can see i was still bleeding a bit.
