forza, italian for strength/force.
when i was 19 i was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes and it changed my life forever. i come from a super italian family and i decided to get this word on my wrist because i promised myself that despite my troubles i will stay strong, and do everything in my life full force.

To answer your question, yes, I am a Taylor Swift fan. And yes, this is the title of her most recent record. Feel free to laugh here, but allow me a moment to explain. The Speak Now album booklet included the following text:

Saying the right thing at the right moment is so crucial that most of us hesitate, for fear of saying the wrong thing at the wrong time. I think most of us fear reaching the end of our life and regretting the moments we didn’t speak up. What you say might be too much for some people, but I think the words you stop yourself from saying are the ones that will haunt you the longest. You deserve to look back on your life without a chorus of resounding voices saying ‘I could’ve, but it’s too late now’. So there is a time for silence. There is a time for waiting your turn. But if you know how you feel, and you know so clearly what you need to say, I don’t think you should wait. I think you should speak now.

I cannot begin to tell you how deeply this resonated with me the first time I read it. My single greatest fault is my inability to say what’s on my mind, and this tattoo is a daily reminder to speak up, to tell people how I feel, and to seize moments and opportunities when they’re in front of me rather than letting them pass by.

this is my first tattoo, and definatly not my last! I got this tattoo because of the symbolism it gives me. they’re are 3 different feathers (bluejay, pigeon, and peacock) which each represent me, my mom, and my grandmother. they’re are 3 different feathers because we are all different and fight all the time, and even though we don’t have the greatest relationships with each other, the red ribbon tying the feathers together, is the connection of family and still love for one another. hence, the red ribbon connecting the 3 together.

Just got this bad boy today at Atomic in Tampa. Luis tatted me up and he was nice and a really good artist!
This is the roman numeral three and I got it for my dad (he was the third and I’m the fourth) because he passed away in 2005.
I am absolutely in love with it.

I spent my entire childhood being obsessed with Star Wars, but as I grew up it became something more than that. I had a few problems with depression a few years ago, and at my worst points I would just put on the movies and for a few hours I could escape from my problems to that galaxy far far away. This is the symbol of the Rebel Alliance, representing hope and the end of the dark times. I just knew this had to be my first tattoo. Done by the wonderful Kat at Ink vs Steel, Leeds, UK.
