I’ve submitted in the past with no luck, so I thought I’d give it another go. This is my first tattoo, on my left leg (not the easiest to capture on your own!). The words “When We Were Angels” is taken from the Michale Graves song on the same title. His music helped me get through a really tough time. I love roses and I love the color purple, so it only made sense to incorporate that in as well. The artist chose the banner color and the punch of orange, which really pulled it all together. I couldn’t be happier! It was done by Dan Fletcher at Kapala Tattoos in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.
I got this tattoo at dark lotus in fayetteville NC. It’s an excerpt from Danny boy which was my grandpas favorite song. He meant a lot to me and so does this piece

A promise to myself to always live a life full of art and love, la vie boheme.
This is my second tattoo. It is the skull of a T-Rex. I got this tattoo in honor of my younger 16 year old brother, Tony, who has autism. He is three years younger than me and we are very close. Growing up we played with dinosaurs everyday and his favorite was always the tyrannosaurus rex. While I am off away at college he’s been going through a rough time at home since my parents are divorcing, and I’ve been missing him a lot. So I got this tattoo to remind me of the good days, to remind me that things will get better, and to remind me that he’ll always be there for me, as will I for him.
