I live to write, it’s all I think of, I published my own book last year, and I’ve just been accepted to a top school for journalism. I thought the quill would be awesome to represent that, because just having a giant pen inked on me is really, really boring.
This is my fourth, and still not my last, tattoo! I got it done at The Golden Horseshoe in St. Catharines, Ontario by an awesome gal named Jen!

Freshly done today!
In 2005 my Nan passed away, I was in grade 5 at the time. It broke my heart, I had a really hard time dealing with it… I would wake up at night in crying fits and have to sleep with one or both of my parents for quite a while. Then in May 2006, a gorgeous white dove started showing up in my backyard. Me and my mom believe in reincarnation, so instantly when we saw the beauty of the dove we thought “that has to be Nanny coming to check on us”. I named her Angel, because my Nan was an angel on earth and continues to be in Heaven. As each day went by the belief that this dove was my Nan grew stronger, she came each day without fail and would eat from a dish at my feet. Then in June my parents, brother and I went on a trip to Florida. When we came home, my other Grandparents show us a picture of their backyard, the same beautiful white dove had begun coming to their house when we left. After we were home a few days we noticed Angel had stopped coming to the house. To this day we believe it was my Nan making sure we were all alright. Now, I will forever have an angel on my shoulder watching over me. <3
