I got these on my 18th birthday, June 4th, 2010. At the time, my pap was in the hospital and my life just wasn’t going the way i had imagined it would. I was graduating from highschool and everything just felt like it was going to end. So one day, i visited my pap in the hospital and before i left i kissed him on the cheek and told him that i loved him. later, when he got out of the hospital he told me that “love” was all he needed to survive and to keep going. so i got “laska” in honor of him because we are slovak, and Laska means love in slovak. and to me, it means that nothing will end as long as love is around, so i’ve surrounded myself with people i love, and people who love me. the world will never end as long as there is love to fill it.
the infinity was something i’ve always wanted, but i just recently read “perks of being a wall flower” and i put a post tattoo meaning towards it. i want to feel infinite.
