The Intrepid Spaceman Spiff done by Amado Cortes at The Third Eye in Winona, Minnesota. This is the first out of two sessions, colors come on the 19th of this month! Can’t wait. My brother and I grew up reading Calvin&Hobbes, and now as adults we decided to get Spaceman Spiff tats, because they’re just so spiffy!

Phoenix represents not giving up getting back up, was ill for a while but have never been stronger now. the lightning and stormy background is based upon an incident in april 2012 where i was struck by lightning twice.

Raven, a cover up done in one sitting at about 3 hours. When they say do not put names on your body, they especially mean to where they’re not visible. Fortunately the talented artist Hector Avila @ Gaslight Gallery in Houston, TX was able to put the prior tattoo on the operating table. In total this is my 8th tattoo and second tattoo done by Hector.
