My new tattoo of my cat Nubby. When I adopted her from the SPCA she was recovering from surgery to remove her ears due to sun cancer. Hence the name Nubby. She is the most loving cat in the world and I love her more than anything. Done by the amazing Stephen Hutchison at Lucky Mutt Tattoo while he was guesting in New Zealand.

My moons, right after they were finished :) I absolutely love the moon and feel a very deep affinity for it-i’m intrigued by the power it holds over our bodies. Done by Adam Francey at White Tiger tattoo. His work is amazing, and I was really grateful he was willing to do this piece for me since it’s not his typical style. I’m so happy with the finished results :)

This is my back piece done by Hailin Fu at Wizard’s in Stowe, PA during a guest spot a little over a year ago. It’s all about self-progression, and he finished it in one, 10-hour sitting. I couldn’t be happier. :)

Excuse the angle of my arm, the tattoo isn’t crooked! I got this because I’ve always loved traditional tattoos. I especially love the colors on this one. I will eventually be going back to get more color added. This piece took about 4 hours and was done at Electric Art in Fox Lake, IL by Stephanie Gonzalez. I would highly recommend her, or any other artist at Electric Art.

The quote, “I have hated the words, and I have loved them, and I hope I have made them right” is from the novel “The Book Thief”, which has been one of my favorite books of the past few years. :)
