Tattoo #7, my Marcus Fenix/Gears of War tattoo. There isn’t a very dramatic story behind this one, I just love Gears of War (Games and books) and I loved the design of Fenix’s tattoo. Done as always by the amazing Matt of Hardline Tattoo in Monroe, Washington. He’s done almost all my tattoos, and definitely all my nerd tattoos.

Freshly done ink - giving a big thanks to Kris Maron at Art Rage Tattoo in Taylor, Pa. I was sitting in my favorite coffeeshop one day and I was thinking of something I could design for my grandfather who had passed away two years ago. I never really knew him that well, which I regret now - but what I did know was that he was a hell of a barber and if you asked anyone in Scranton, PA who Mike Ritter was they’d know where his shop was and what kind of a man he was. “You’re only as sharp as your razor.”
