This was my first tattoo and was done by David Hale from Love Hawk Tattoo out of Athens, Ga.  The design for the tattoo was inspired by the art of Hamilton Yakota (aka TitiFreak), and was brought to life by my tattoo artist.
Ever since I can remember, I have been intrigued by tattoos.  I always wanted to experience actually being tattooed, and told myself I would only do so when I found art worth adding to my skin forever.  18 months passed between when I found the artwork and when I was tattooed, and the wait was absolutely worth it.

Long overdue. Play it in HD and all that jazz, that way you can clearly see the beautiful faces of Ben and Andy.

Green or Blue are at it again, and you all need to hear this.

This is my second tattoo done by Thomas Page at Pigment Demographics in Austin Texas.
I chose a dandelion because they grow where i live, and i wanted it on my foot to remind me that no matter how far i traveled from home, i was always just a foot step away

this was my first tattoo that I got only a month after turning 18 (April ‘11). I went to http://stevestattoo.com/home.html in Madison, WI, and was inked the same day I made the appointment by Lenny. I chose this tattoo (the entirety of a poem by e.e. cummings) for a reason that’s hard to put into words. I’ve always loved literature because reading has always been very easy for me-this, I recently discovered, is because I’m a synesthete. This particular poem was the first piece of writing I was able to really link to my “ability” of sorts, which some consider a neurological mishap. I read it the first time with ease, and the poem stuck. Without memorizing it, I was able to conjure up mental images like technicolor dreams by just remembering the way it felt to read it. While this may sound cliche, I am trying my hardest to describe a physical sensation, the images produced by my mind’s eye; I submit my ink to fyeahtattoos because I think my story and my tattoo are unique (I’ve seen many a-tattoo dedicated to e.e. cummings, most of them the same poems or the same excerpts), and I hope my story can be shared with other people looking for the right kind of inspiration for a tattoo. I know I’ll never regret this addition :)

My HOUSE portrait (hugh laurie) done by Matt Allsman at Eternal Tattoo  (www.eternaltattoo.tumblr.com)   I got this tattoo because I am obviously a huge House fan, but also because i hadn’t seen anyone get a portrait of him done.    The pictures never really look as good as it does in person.
