I’m a huge Misfits fan so I decided to get this as my first tattoo. Really stoked on how it came out. Done by Chrissy Summers at Sink Or Swim Tattoo in Grover Beach, California.

My first tattoo I got after my high school graduation last May in Pinetop, Arizona. This is Max’s crown from my favorite book “Where The Wild Things Are”. Maurice Sendak has always been a major part and inspiration in my life. I was named after Max and my parents raised with that book. I’ve always related to him, even now, and I wanted to get something that would remind me of my childhood, who I am, and what I come from. This tattoo is dedicated to my Grandmothers—- I’m lucky to know the three, the two out of the three who are still living are very important to me. These are pins (cameo and butterfly) that were given to me by my great grandmothers and the ribbon represents breast cancer. I am in love with how this tattoo turned out! The talented artist Jerred Kincaid from The Holy Mackerel in St.Paul MN made this happen!
