This is my first tattoo. Done by Jess at White Mountain Tattoo and Body Piercing. I got this after having a really bad day but the whole reason of this for me is because I believe the world should just love eachother and it would be such a better place if we all did.
The plan was to get it on the opposite side of my wrist but Jess said it would come out shitty because it had to be so big and i was going to get Obey Peace Fingers on the underside of my wrist but that wouldn’t have fit either. My first tattoo was going to be a Dream Catcher my friend drew out for me but that will be the next which i will submit later on. This picture is taken by shmemilyjay.tumblr.com. <3

I tattooed this piece on my good friend Wendy and we’re now in the process of an oak tree comprised of elements from her favorite novels going up her side, connecting to this piece and covering most of her back. Lots and lots of fun :)

My lovely tattoo with roses, brush strokes and the letter O (for my husband). Done at Zoi Tattoo Stockholm by the talented Ellen Westholm.

This was my first (legitimate) tattoo. It’s an armband that is inspired by the work of the Israeli-American street artist Know Hope (thisislimbo.com). I chose this design not only because I love his work and his reflections on the human condition, but I also thought it was fitting because I do tend to wear my heart on my sleeve. I had it done by Jen Munford of Name Brand Tattoo in Ann Arbor, MI. She had to re-design the linework to get it to work around an actual 3-dimensional arm, and I was super-ecstatic with the results. It took about four hours. She did a really good job with the linework, especially considering she said she had never done anything like mine before. The picture on the right is the outer arm, and the signature on the inside of the heart is from a concert I went to where I met the band and one of the members excited signed the inside of my heart and then exclaimed, “look! she hearts me!” It was pretty awesome.I originally intended to have the heart colored in red, but I left it blank for such purposes.

This was taken couple seconds after it was finished up. This is my first tattoo and I had it done with John L. at Art 4 Art Sake tattoo in Sacramento, Ca. I really like the shop and John was incredible to work with. The tattoo is a simplified version of Dance Gavin Dance’s self-titled cover art. That album has been one of my favorites for about 3 years. This band was one of the ones that brought me into the all the music i listen to now and all the friends i have now. I never get sick of it. John did a really great job of taking a intricate piece and making to fit my needs. Its on the back of my calf and i couldn’t be more please with the placement of it. It took about 3 hours to do. I really enjoy the feeling of being tattooed and hopefully have more to come in the future.

This photo was taken just after the needle stopped buzzing (you can see its oozing blood a little). I really like animals, and i saw this drawing of a green owl and really liked it, so i got my tattoo artist to change it around a little. The original art was inspired by Connor Oberst’s Milk Thistle from the specific lyrics, “You bring peace to midnight like a spotted owl”The Artist was Becca - http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.138091849570715.24301.138086462904587&type=1At the studio Cherrie’s Tattoos in Hornchurch near London - http://www.facebook.com/pages/Cherrys-Tattoos/138086462904587
