I got this beautiful tattoo done by Jason at Handmade Tattoo on Dumfries Rd in Northern Virginia. This was my first tattoo. It took 6 hours from start to finish. Jason was the perfect choice. I had seen his previous work, and it was all beautiful and clean. He was super enthusiastic about my piece. He actually had me giggling and laughing through most of the tattoo. He was very concerned about my comfort level, and he refused to finish until it was perfect. He is also very reasonable with pricing. This tattoo has a ton of meaning behind it. The sunflower was my nickname growing up as a child. The words, “I will only be one prayer away,” were the last words my mother said to me and my three younger siblings before she passed away of cancer my senior year in highschool. I decided to have it placed on my spine because she was/is my backbone, and she helped me to grow as a person.

This is the Crest of Courage from Digimon, I got the tattoo at Main Street Tattoo in Jacksonville AR, A wonderful woman named Nancy did this amazing job :) I was obsessed with Digimon when I was younger and would always have to be Agumon or Veemon during recess, because they were badass and I wanted to be awesome. And Tai and Davis both had the crest of courage and their badass goggles,  I’m planning on getting Kyubimon on my thigh, but as of right now this is my favorite tattoo, I absolutely love it :)

I actually saw a photo of this same exact wolf circulating the internet for some years now. I always hoped to come across the artist but never did. Then I began to look up the meaning of a ‘wolf’ and found that they are very misunderstood. That theory clicked well with me and I always admired the internal organization of wolf packs therefore I got a tattoo to symbolize my connection to wolves. The tattoo was done by Gus at Industrial Art in Harrison, NJ. Great artist, great price, and an overall great experience.
