The story behind it, if you will, is that my family have suffered a bunch of bad luck recently. One of my aunties died at New Year of cancer and the other is on an End of Life pathway as she is also dying of terminal cancer. She’s only got a few weeks left. It’s kind of a reminder to keep ploughing along when life throws challenges at us such as this. I’m pretty good at this anyway, but everyone has their down days.

I wrote my first story when I was seven years old. Ever since, words have been just as vital to me as the blood in my veins. They have liberated me in a way nothing else has. My future waits on a lined piece of paper, words I have yet to write.

At an angle so I can actually use it.  Only two days old and I’m already fighting the urge to add YOU! to the second line.
