New tattoo by Myles Karr from Three Kings Tattoo in Brooklyn, NY. Could not be happier with it.

Done in about 2 hrs at Tattoo Boogaloo in San Francisco by the fabulous artist, Mez.

This is my 3rd tattoo and is based on a charicature of Charles Darwin that appeared in The Hornet in 1871 after he published The Descent of Man.  I’m a scientist and an atheist and I have much admiration for Darwin as a pioneer in evolutionary theory.  (Additionally, my favorite animals are monkeys and apes, so that was a bonus but not my primary motive in getting this.)
