It originally was just a symbol for friendship but we decided to connect the lines and make it infinite. Our friendship means the world to the both of us because we have been through so much with each other, like my cancer scares, loss of family members and so much more. We know that we will always be apart of each others lives but now so does everyone else. I got mine placed on the inside of my left heel and Emily’s on her right.

I got this tattoo at Anchor’s End in Duluth, MN. Done by Josh. It’s the first of many tattoos I plan to get. It’s inspired by the band Bright Eyes. He sings about yellow birds a lot, most often as a symbol of hope. And I love that.
