I love Ghibli studios/Miyazaki films, and My Neighbor Totoro is one of my three favorites and means a lot to me and represents a lot from my childhood. I can’t wait to have more done.

It started with the mandala on my shoulder. The cherry blossoms were added Leap Day 2012. The background mandalas were my artist’s idea and all his original design. This was after the second session with one more to go. All work done by Jason Saint of Mercy Seat tattoo in Kansas City, Missouri.

My cousin Alex got the southern cross on his shoulder. My cousin Chris got the infinite “feather” on her waist and I got the little flowers behind my ear.

I got them both done at Bomshell Ink in Corunna Michigan. I got the stormtrooper a month before the vader one. I have many reasons why I got what I did, I love them to pieces though.

My tattoo is of Ganesh the Hindu God. I got it done in Brockton, MA at Pins and Needles by Mike. It’s my first real tattoo and I’m in love <3
