Polar bears have been my favorite animal since I was little. I chose a snowflake for the background because I have always been fascinated by them. Being Texan, we don’t see snow often.. but when we did, as a child I would pretend I was a snowflake princess. Snowflakes are also one of a kind, just like my personality.
4th tattoo of many. Done by Ryan Lockwood at Darkside Tattoo in Kankakee, Illinois. He’s an incredible artist who’s only been tattooing for 8 1/2 months! I highly recommend him if you live in the Chicago area. An incredible 3 hour session that was seriously worth it.
my Aladdin Sane tribute. David Bowie is the love of my life.
done by Matt at Body Language in Storrs, CT
This is the tattoo of my dog i just got about a week ago. unfortunately, my dog is getting old and he’s lost his vision :( a few years ago a buddy of mine made a little doodle of my dog as a blind old man as a joke. i thought it was sick and it would make an awesome tattoo. So, I brought this doodle to Erica Flannes at red rocket tattoo in NYC and she transformed it into this beautiful piece. its not completely finished yet (the filigree needs to be colored in) but im totally in love with it so far! :D
Done by Dennis Burke in Winchester, Virginia, USA for my 18th birthday. Dennis is a really great artist. The tattoo is Salvador Dali’s illustration for Alice in Wonderland’s fifth chapter: “Advice From a Caterpillar”. I freaking love it and could not have asked for anything better. It’s seven inches long, it took 2 hours and it’s my first, though certainly not my last.
