The bird and boat were chosen as a reminders to myself of who I want to be - a person who moves freely towards new and unknown places in life. The style was intended to be alike that of a Chinese painting, as a nod to my culture that has played an enormous role in shaping my personal identity. The tech-looking, crumbling moon in the top right was chosen as a testament to my love for science and understanding that all things in the universe have their course. I wasn’t sure if the contrasting styles between the two components would work out, but in the end I have to say I couldn’t be happier with my first tattoo. Huge thanks to Alan for doing such a fantastic job and helping with the design.

I have a soft spot for Japanese art and tattoos. I also think Jellyfish are awesome little creatures. So I ended up with this pink and orange jelly on my arm. :)

My friend Robert Wingo at Suffer City in Dallas is creating a Doctor Who half sleeve for me. The process is being broken up into 4 separate sessions. Last night he started with a Sonic Screwdriver and figuring out the placements for everything else I wanted!
Got this beauty on the 7th of August and this is my very first tattoo. It’s done by Cute Karin, who has a tattoo shop in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
For all you nerds out there, yes it’s a Tardis from the famous tv-show “Doctor Who”. Although I’m a fan from the show, that’s not the reason why I took the Tardis as my Tattoo. It there to remind me to go on adventures and take changes.
