I got this tattoo a few hours ago at Paper planes tattoo and art studio in Modesto,CA. My artist’s name is Frank Mostek, he has done all 5 of my tattoos!I got Jiji on my ankle today! (the cat from Kiki’s delivery service, a studio Ghibli film)  Kiki’s delivery service was the first ever studio Ghibli movie I ever watched, my grandma gave me the movie for my birthday. I have always wanted a tattoo that represented my love for my cats, and I felt that Jiji best represented my cats because they have always been my life companions, and I love them like a best friend. I went in with one of my good friends and she also got a Ghibli tattoo. ( she got a soot sprite!). I do notice that my picture makes the eye look a bit off, I assure you it looks absolutely perfect in person. I had a great experience getting this tattoo and I can’t wait for my next one!(also,here is my tumblr —> Karathekraken.tumblr.com)

Done at Planet Ink in Georgia by Todd G. My grandma passed away on December 30th of 2011 from a heart attack. It came out of absolutely no where and broke all of our hearts tremendously. She was one of the most important people in my whole life - she practically raised me. Words can’t begin to explain how much I miss her every day; I would give anything for the chance to have just said goodbye. The last thing my grandmother gave me was a Christmas card, and on the inside she signed it “Love you Granny.” I waited until I turned 18 and until I could come back home from college to get my neighbor’s brother, Todd, to tattoo me. I knew he would do the best job. I’m absolutely 100% in love with my tattoo. I can’t have my grandma back, but I can have a constant reminder of how much she loved me and how proud of me she would be right now. I just know she’s up there giggling to herself and shaking her head at me, wondering what the hell I’m doing tattooing her handwriting on my wrist. I just love her so much, and I think this was the perfect way to keep her with me at all times.
