This is my fourth tattoo! I got it done by Jeffery Hubbard of Revolution Ink in Bimingham, Alabama. This is my only large piece I have so far! I got it as a gift from my dad for graduation. Okay, now to explain it. I am an immense Harry Potter fan, I always have been. Ever since I was a child, I read every single book, my dad took me to see the very first movie in theaters opening day. Harry Potter has always been a piece of me.. A piece of my childhood. These books were my escape from the harsh childhood I had and they made me a child again. As you can see, I have three objects used in the movies! The time turner, the elder wand, and the sword of gryffindor! I told my artist to add whatever he liked to fill in the voids around the objects and I told him I wanted a rope frame and a scroll with the words “till the end.” Why that quote exactly? It’s from the very last harry potter movie, right before Harry faces Voldemort in the woods, he releases the resurrection stone and speaks to all of his passed away loved ones. I always bawl my eyes out when he says “You’ll stay with me?” and his father replies “Until the end.” I’m quite awful at telling stories, so please excuse my rambling.. I just really love my tattoo. This tattoo shows my childhood, my love for good literature, and my love for harry potter. Until the end!
My beautiful Hamsa tattoo done by Timmy at Tattoo Marks. PA, United States. I have always loved the delicacy of this symbol, and that it protects against the ‘evil eye’.
My newest tattoo, freshly healed. Done by Pat at Enigma in Saint Louis, Missouri.
It’s based off the cover of Sparklehorse’s album ‘It’s A Wonderful Life’. I’m ridiculously happy with how this tattoo turned out and I had a great time getting it done.
Grim Reaper by Jen Jacques @ Til Death Tattoo, Portland ME
i always wanted a grim reaper, and i’d never had a female artist work on my body so this just clicked together. (ribs suck tho)
