My Grandpa Al and I, his first grandchild, were extremely close before he lost his battle with cancer. He is my idol just as much as John Wayne was his. My grandpa was a “cowboy” and that is the way I will always remember him. He was a strong, courageous, genuine man and I got this tattoo to pay tribute to the struggle he faced and how strong he was through all of his hardships in life and so that he will always be with me.
