This is my latest tattoo, done by Levi Hatch, of Think Ink Tattoos in Norman, Okla. The piece is from the mind of James Jean, and is one he did for Guillermo del Toro’s production company, Mirada. I admire Jean’s work and wanted something of his affixed to my skin, and when I saw this I knew it was it. Hatch did an amazing job turning the very detailed sketch into a very detailed tattoo, one that also embodies Hatch’s own style. Yes, it hurt. Yes, it was completely worth it.
