This was taken an hour after I got it, so excuse the mess. My uncle William Montgomery was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer about 2 years ago. I was completely devistated. But, I was naive in thinking that no one I loved would ever pass away from cancer. He went into remission for a while. September 2010 he got very sick again. He lost a lot of weight as well as his hair. From that point on I tried my hardest to be near him whenever I could be. November 18th we moved in him into our house because we knew he was getting more sick and closer to passing away. All of his friends came out and helped move him. That night he passed away. He had told us he was afraid of dying alone and I think being around my family and seeing all of his friends comforted him so he didn’t have to fight anymore. I love him and miss him so much.
