This is my fourth tattoo. I got it at Lark Street Tattoo in Albany, NY. This is the first tattoo that I’ve gotten there, but I would definitely go back. The meaning behind the quote “hug-a-hug-a-hug-a” comes from my nana. September 19th was the 10 year anniversary of her passing, so I decided to get another tattoo for her. I already have a large tattoo on my back in memory of her, but I feel like this has more direct meaning to her. Every time she would hug me, or say goodbye to me she would hug me tight and say “hug-a-hug-a-hug-a”, hence the tattoo. I’m completely happy with the way it came out, it was the perfect way to commemorate my grandmother, and i’ll always look down at it and remember the times I had with her. RIP nana; 10 years and never forgotten <3
