I got this tattoo in the writing of a person who is very special to me. I’ve struggled with an eating disorder and addiction for many years, and this amazing woman introduced me to the world of the 12 steps. I’ve been in and out of treatment centers for years and nothing has ever worked. But the steps are working, because I’ve realized that my diseases are spiritual. This woman saved my life on several different occasions in very literal ways. She wrote me a note and this one line struck me the most in all of it. She amazes me and I love that I now have a peace of this beautiful, inspirational woman with me. I’m so incredibly happy with this tat.
