This is the tattoo I got for my Dad who passed away eight years ago due to a rare cancer of the blood. I took in his airforce wingbadge and this is what they came up with. Instead of NZ in the middle I got WH for his initials. I got this tattoo shortly after my 16th birthday, and I’m now 18 and still love it. It’s my favourite of five tattoes.
This was done by Mike Slade who at the time was working for Ink Grave in Christchurch, New Zealand. But because of the massive earthquake here, he’s since working out of epic ink doing the sickest tattooes out. I ALWAYS go to Mike because he’s amazing at intricate work. He’s done all of mine. Mad props to Mike Slade!
