This is my koi tattoo done by Mitch Sousa at Fast Lane Tattoo in East Greenbush NY. Let me start by saying he freehanded the entire thing, Sharpie marker right to my skin. I have the pic to prove it. I didn’t want a koi that likes all the rest. The kois I like best are the koi with white orange and black. That’s why the colors are the way they are. The koi is swimming up to symbolize all of the obstacles I have overcome in my life. I got it on my back because in the end I am always the one who will have my back. The quote couldn’t define me better. No matter what I do, or the mistakes I make, I regret nothing. Everything has taught me a lesson and I’m grateful for that, no matter how life changing anything is. I’ve learned a lot of lessons and they’ve made me who I am today.
