I got this for my 21st birthday this year - Its one of the many tattoos I have been planning for the past few years, its my 2nd tattoo. So happy when I got it, it was done by Alex @ Needlempire in Leuven, Belgium. I got it as a reference to a few things - including the Pink Floyd song which I have fond memories of. And in reference to my Grandmother who has Alzheimers - she hasnt forgotten me yet, but I live on the other side of the world and I dont think she will remember me for much longer. As you can probably tell there is another tattoo on the right side of the picture, that part was done about 3 weeks before by the same artist, they are meant as one tattoo but its very difficult to get a good photo of both at the same time. I will try and submit that one once I get a better pic of it. While getting the tattoo I was reasonably okay, although the closer he got to my sternum the more I wanted to arch up and off his table. Which I have to give him mucho credit for remaining clam with me at that point. He is a great artist, does great work and always seems friendly and polite. I am considering going back to him for the arm sleeve I am planning. x
