This is my 5th tattoo and is the most important to me. The purple ribbon represents pancreatic which my mom was recently diagnosed with. The roman numerals represent the date she was diagnosed (10.14.2011). The birds represent hope. In honor of my mother I got this for her..to symbolize the struggles she will go through but that her strength will overcome it all.  I got this tattoo done by Daniel Bisol (Dee) from Sinister Ink 2 in San Diego, CA. This is my second time going to him and he is the best artist I’ve worked with.
