My first and (currently) only tattoo. The line is a lyric from the song There, There Katie by Jack’s Mannequin. To make a very long story short, this particular line stopped me from killing myself on November 4, 2009 when my depression was at an extreme. I’ve lived my life based on the lyric ever since. And now I have the tattoo as a constant reminder that even when times get tough, life is truly beautiful.  The asterisk was drawn by Andrew McMahon when I met him. I’m honored to have the words of an incredibly inspiring man inked on me for the rest of my life.  I got my tattoo on November 4, 2011 (the two year anniversary) at Eternal Tattoos in Livonia, Michigan. It was done by Joey G, who I highly recommend.
