The butterfly project is a therapy designed for people who self harm. Whenever the person wants to cut, or harm themselves they are supposed to draw a butterfly in the place where they would do it instead. I have been a cutter for 9 years and I am proud to say that I stopped many months ago. I was confident enough in this that I decided to make my butterfly a permanent fixture.
