My 18th birthday present to myself. I’ve been riding horses for about 13 to 14 years and they’ve always been my favorite animal so I figured why not commemorate such a big part of my life into a tattoo. This is my second tattoo, the first being on my foot. Pain-wise for anyone thinking about a shoulder blade tattoo, go for it. Practically painless in a lot of areas for me. It was actually really relaxing too in some areas. The coloring for the vine and flowers is what sucked the most I think. lol. The whole design was custom made for me based off a few different pictures given to the artist (such as the horse head and style of the flower that I wanted).
