I got this at Club Tattoo in Tempe, Arizona. It was done by Nic Westfall. He has done this piece on me as well as one on my mom and one on a friend of mine and he has never failed to amaze me. This picture was taken by him literally minutes after it was finished (hence why its still a little red). The reason I got this is because of my grandfather. He passed away when I was younger, but he will always remain a huge part of my life. To this day many of the decisons I make are influenced by the lessons he taught me in the short period of time that I got to know him. He was always fascinated by wildlife and the outdoors. We always used to go to the zoo or just out hiking. His passion became mine. We always loved jungle cats of all kinds. However I chose a lion because they are portrayed as the wisest and most thoughtful of the jungle cats. This tattoo is to remind me that he will always be there to help guide me in my life.
