“We were so beautiful” is a quote from an English show called Misfits. My favourite character was trying to save his friends from being someone they weren’t, and went on to explain that they’re screw-ups and they always will be, but that’s the way things are supposed to be. It was inspirational to me, and it’s a constant reminder to be myself, no matter how much of a fuck up I might be. And the star fruit are actually paopu fruit from Kingdom Hearts. I got those merely because I love the games, and loved the idea that if you share one with someone your “destiny’s become intertwined.” These tattoos were actually done by two different artists, Joe and Josh. Joe did my quote, and Josh did my fruit. Done at Tattoo 122 in Uxbridge, MA.
