This tattoo is of my cat’s paw print. The design comes from an original image in which my cat’s paw was dipped in paint and he walked around on a drawing pad. Most people think this tattoo is dumb, or pointless - but this cat has been there for me when others haven’t. I’ve grown up with him since I was small, and just like I rescued him, he’s done the same for me in many ways. And now that he’s nearing the end of his life, I wanted a living part of him to stay with me for the rest of my own.
