This is my second tattoo done by Justin Hartman at Urban Art in Mesa, AZ. I enjoyed getting my tattoo very much, even though the pain was horrible. I don’t handle pain very well, so Im not really sure why I got a tattoo on my foot. BUT I did it. And Justin made the experience great and he is an amazing artist.
This tattoo means so much to me. It is a tribute to my Grandma (we called her Nany) who passed away in May. She had alzheimer’s and even up until the very end even though she still played her harmonica. So I came to Justin telling him I wanted a harmonica and music notes and to put her signature somewhere. And he drew up this. The flowers are forget me nots. This picture is from the second day and Im still a bit swollen so although its not the best picture of my foot, it shows how amazing the tattoo is. And the pain was totally worth it.
Leave it to my awesome Grandma to take me way out of my comfort zone.
