I went with my friend Becca to a place called Folk Art Tattoos. This is my first tattoo, and the story is pretty heavy. Since sixth grade I have been telling lies to make myself seem more interesting. This escalated my freshman year of college, resulting in a very very close suicide attempt. After very nearly dying, I told a close friend the truth, and lost him over the horrible lies I had told. This is to remind me that I can be loved without lying, and that I am not my mistakes. I can forgive myself for what I’ve done. I am worth more than the lies I’ve told.
