My most recent tattoos; my owl represents Athena the Greek goddess and the kitty represents Freyja the Norse goddess. They would often come to earth in the form of these animals. They are the strong female figures who had power equal to their male counterparts in two completely different mythologies in two completely different parts of the world, yet they were worshipped and respected by both their cultures.
Together they reflect my love of the stars, my love of animals, my pride in my nationality, and of course my womanhood ;) I never get sick of looking at them.
