The name J.Reyez (pronounced J.Rise, Eyez with an R) is my stage name as a recording artist (http://youtube.com/JReyez) It’s a concept of always going up with what I do and the word “reyes” in Spanish means to be on top; like a king The phoenix represents the same thing and when a phoenix burns out, it rises from it’s ashes and flies again so in a way it would mean that if you fail at something, get right back up and try again.
