This is my second tattoo done by Justin Hartman at Urban Art Tattoo in Mesa, Arizona. He is an amazing artist and made the painful experience bearable.
The tattoo is a tribute to my grandma (we called her Nany). She died in May after living for 90 years. She had Alzheimer’s and ended up living with my family. My mom, despite already having a full house and an autistic son, took my Grandma in and took care of her everyday until she passed away.
The tattoo is of a harmonica because she always used to play it and she was extremely good at it too. In the harmonica is her signature. There are some music notes and the flowers are forget me nots.
