A year ago, I was going through a very dark time, and I was making a ton of really terrible, self-destructive decisions that I wasn’t sure I’d come back from. I’ve always thought of moths and butterflies and moths as a symbol of transformation and rebirth. I got it as a reminder to not dwell on the past, and not to fall back into my old habits.
