This is my 4th and favorite tattoo done by my friend Manny Macias who’s been tattooing for about a year now. I absolutely love this tattoo because 2011 has been the roughest year ive ever gone trough. I lost everyone I grew up with at the same time simply because they all found better people, I had major problems at home, I was depressed, and my dog who was my life went missing. Then I was introduced to “the boy who blocked his own shot” by Brand New and it literary saved my life. I wanted this before new years so every day I wake up and see this in 2012 I’ll remind myself not to fall back into that place where I was. Keeping everything bottled in made things worse, so I let all my pain out & im a little better now. Manny did a great job & it couldn’t have been more perfect. Done 12/23/11 in Chicago, IL.
