I got this tattoo October 23, 2011…the day after my friend Caleb died in a car accident. He was a loyal friend who never told me anything but exactly what he was thinking. The lunar eclipse behind the wolf is a representation of one of my fondest memories with him…. him and I sat outside of his house in my car and watched the lunar eclipse together through my sunroof. We goofed off and talked shit till the early morning hours. The wolf is what Caleb believed was his spirit animal and was also one of his favorite animals to draw/paint. I got the idea for the tattoo hours after I received the news and was determined to get it the next day….as he lived, I live in no regret of my decision…my love for him is as permanent as the tattoo.
