I have the hardest time letting go, whether it’s of thoughts that scare me, worries, or other attachments. My mind sometimes becomes turbulent, and once a good friend and a confidant told me the words from the bible, “Be still and know that I am God” to help calm me down. The feathers are about letting go unto the wind, allowing life to caress all the pain away, letting all the worries fly away.  I got my tattoo from Phase 2 at Portage Ave. in Winnipeg. My very talented artist’s name is Lacey, and her colour work is amazing so my once thought of black and white design I had her fill in with as much colour as she can put, and this is her masterpiece. All my tattoos are done by Lacey and I won’t go to any other artist, except her.
