Here’s my Koi Fish half sleeve. It’s still not done after four sessions because I want to add more to it, but this is how it looks as of now.
The meaning of my tattoo:
Both the fishes swimming in opposite directions resemble complementary opposites, representing yin and yang to symbolize balance. The cherry blossoms represent the beauty of life. The Lotus Flower sits on top of the fishes on my shoulder to represent unity and purity, symbolizing my upbringing in life as I go through the hardships to cope with. That’s basically it.
