This is my second tattoo, and it started out as the butterfly from Paramore’s Brand New Eyes album. What attracted me to that particular image was how the butterfly was torn and tattered, because that was how I saw myself. Long story short, God did a mighty work in my heart and I changed my idea from a torn and tattered butterfly to a beautiful and whole Monarch butterfly. The idea is that this is how He created me and this is how He sees me. Done at Trinity Tattoo Company in Duncan, SC by Israel “Izzy” Hughes. He did an awesome job on it!
