This is my 3rd tattoo on my right calf. It’s based on the original illustrations from Lewis Carrol’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland..with a personal twist. I plan to get my own version of Wonderland tattooed throughout my life starting at my feet and working up my side. The first part represents me, stepping out of the shadows of my past and onto a new path full of wonder but keeping my curiosity childlike so as not to lose track of where I’m going. It was done by the very talented Dan Fowler from Perfect Image Tattoo Studio in Grand Bend, ON. I am honoured to have such a beautiful work of art on my body. People of all ages including little old ladies have come up to me and complimented me on this tattoo. Next up is my version of the Cheshire Cat and the rest of the tree. I can’t wait to see how this illustrated life story unfolds…
